"Motely Crew Asylum"

Films: Don't Look in the Basement (1973), Don't Look in the Basement 2 (2015)

Alias: Various, notably Dr. Masters, Sam, Judge Oliver Cameron, Sgt. Jaffe, Danny

Type: Natural, possibly Mystical

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: The whole point of an asylum is to try and recondition someone into fitting back into society. Just letting them run around doing willy-nilly is inevitably going to go down in flames.

History: Dr. Stephens thought that if the insane were allowed total freedom in a closed space, the insanity would wear off at some point. A bit outlandish, but it might yield results. Unfortunately, one inmate going by the alias of Dr. Geraldine Masters took over, and now Stephens lies dying in the basement as more inmates come and make this place a living Hell, with Masters at the top of the food chain.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: In the end, Masters is confronted by the inmates he terrorized, and is brutally killed. However, the lobotomized inmate Sam is driven insane by the murders, and kills every other inmate in a blood rage. Four decades later, he's committed to the place all over again, but the spirit of insanity lives on in there, and, well, that's just another story...

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-It's hard to tell who might be claiming your life with these inmates. It could be that crazy nurse, that PTSD-laden Sargent, or more likely, the sniveling coward Dr. Masters. Needless to say, Stephen might not have thought all of this through.

Trivia: -The first film was also known as "The Forgotten" and "Death Ward #13".

-The films were based on an Edgar Allen Poe story, "The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether".

This asylum needs a Batman, now.

All it takes is one bad day.
We need better guards.

Ouch.

It is the curse of sequels.
Because it's trying to kill you!
